There’s a lot more to this Hollywood hotspot on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula than just tacos and tequila (though now that I think about it, some really good tacos!) Los Cabos is one of Mexico’s most popular destinations, and for good reason – beautiful beaches, tons of activities, and a very lively nightlife (combined with great food, and you can’t go wrong!)

Los Cabos activities for the adventurous
If you’re like me, you’re looking for a list of all the activities you can do while you’re on vacation, as long as you can use your arm. I love the idea of sitting in a hammock and reading a book while feeling the breeze, but I often stay for a total of 10 minutes before starting to explore as much as possible.
One of the first things on my list for Los Cabos was to embark on a paddleboarding mission to Los Cabos Arch. people from on the cape They picked us up early in the morning for an adventure to the beach to see this iconic natural arch from a new perspective.
Another great and more popular way to see the arches is to take a local boat tour. These depart all day every day and are a great way to see the marine wildlife below by snorkeling or diving (just know there are plenty of sharks here!).

Check-in: One&Only Palmyra
While in Los Cabos, my friend and I checked into two very different resorts to give us a chance to try new activities and terrain during our trip. A unanimous favorite was our first resort. One & Only Palmyra.
This resort feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo San Lucas. With exclusive private beach access, surf rentals and lessons, and a daily schedule of yoga and fitness classes, you’ll be sure to consume that much-needed guacamole.

Check-in: Esperanza
The next resort we checked into was one of Los Cabos’ finest, with a more modern, masculine approach to villa life. we checked into a balcony suite esperanza It has its own plunge pool and ocean views, but after just a few nights here, we ended up venturing out of the resort more than relaxing and relaxing.
Esperanza certainly knows how to cater to her customers, offering a wide range of vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free options on her breakfast menu. One evening we tried the menu Sea cuisinethe resort’s fine dining restaurant overlooking the coastline.

Visit San Jose del Cabo for the best tacos in San Jose del Cabo.
After Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo is a smaller (and more quaint) town to explore in the area, with a variety of restaurants, bars, and clubs. We were a little more interested in tacos than tequila, so we went into town in search of the best tacos in town. Lupitaone of the liveliest little restaurants in town with live music and a fun crowd.
The tacos were super fresh and there was a good selection of veggie-friendly tacos, but the atmosphere of this little place is what you’re really looking for. There’s a nice mix of locals and out-of-towners, and a really fun atmosphere in the evenings.

Best restaurant for sunset
One of my “rules” (I use this term loosely) when traveling is to see every sunrise and sunset. So, while in Los Cabos, I made sure to research the best bars and restaurants to enjoy spectacular sunset views.
This quickly turned into a bit of a challenge to keep ourselves on top. And have these places brought you good things?

Comal at Chileno Bay Resort Restaurant
On our first night in Los Cabos, we headed to: gulf of chilea stylish resort with a James Bond vibe and one of the most impressive outdoor gardens I’ve seen on this side of the world.
Here we stopped at the Comal Bar and Restaurant for our first evening and first Los Cabos sunset. The cocktail menu is extensive and creative, and our head bar tender has won numerous awards for his imaginative spin on classic cocktails. However, I will give you a friendly warning. Take a sip and you might find yourself mid-conversation with a cactus…the drink is strong!

Sunset Mona Lisa Restaurant
If your card has a special occasion and you need the perfect background for it, look no further. Mona Lisa at sunset. This restaurant has the best Once you experience the view of the sunset over the city, you will understand how wonderful it is. When the sun goes down, there is also a sunset ceremony where people sound their horns. Be sure to reserve your table several weeks in advance. This is one of the popular restaurants in the area.

Day trip: Todos Santos
If you’re spending more than a few nights in Los Cabos and looking for a more cultural way to spend the day, head to the nearby small town of Todos Santos. It has a colorful and cute atmosphere and is filled with boutiques displaying the work of local artists and artisans.
This desert oasis is also known for its wide variety of organic farms and eateries, so be sure to arrive hungry.

Explore the desert with locals
On our last day in Los Cabos, we headed to the desert for an activity we were sure to enjoy. We took a 1 hour adventure on horseback through a cactus valley to the beach with a local guide. team of Carisba Ranch It was a great insight into the local culture to see a farm that really cares about its horses and has been passed down through generations. The amazing views as we drove from the desert to the beach were just an added bonus.
many thanks Los Cabos Travel Guide Thank you for welcoming me to experience this region and arranging such a wonderful trip! All opinions and photos are my own.
