Ukrainian President Voldy Mie Zelensky has denounced Russia for strengthening what is known as a terrorist campaign designed to threaten Ukrainian civilians. Zelenskyy made his remarks in a post on X, detailing the increase in Kremlin’s attacks on Ukraine over the past seven days.

The Ukrainian leader says Russia fired more than 1,800 drones, more than 1,200 guided aviation bombs and 83 missiles of various types during the week. Earlier in the week, Kiev said Russia had launched a barrage of highly deadly aeroballistics and cruise missiles.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has claimed great territorial interests amid their new attacks, particularly at the forefront of the eastern Donbas region. The Kremlin says that the forces claimed Donetsk’s Mikolife and the village of Milne.

Moscow is now just over two-thirds of the Donetsk region, which includes the city itself and the large stars of the surrounding territory. Kiev has not commented on Russia’s claims of further progress.

However, Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian air defense forces were achieving “good results.” Ukrainian leaders say Kiev’s air defenses have been able to stop hundreds of Russian drone strikes, targeting several cities and positions that are primarily civilian positions.

“The interceptor drones have been working particularly well, with hundreds of “shahedes” from Russia and Iraq being shot down over the past week,” writes Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy has also expressed continued efforts to further strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and advance intercepting technology.

“Every meeting with our partners this week was to expand this technology. I am grateful to all those willing to invest in protecting life and to our warriors protecting the skies of Ukraine.”

He also called on his allies to push Moscow to the negotiation table and pressure him to end his country’s full-scale invasion until his fourth year.

“Shaheds” is one way to extend the Russian war. Zelenskyy must neutralize this threat in order to move forward with diplomacy more quickly.

The Ukrainian president expressed his gratitude to the seven Ukrainian groups (G7) and the US group, continuing support that their continued support and commitment to securing Ukraine could continue the Russian attack.

A few days ago, US President Donald Trump announced that Washington would send weapon packages to Ukraine in the coming days.

The shipment of weapons paid by Ukraine’s European allies and NATO includes the patriot air defense system that Ukraine has long sought for its high effectiveness in intercepting air attacks.
