YouTube pays $24.5 million to settle Trump’s lawsuit over account suspension

YouTube agreed to pay $24.5 million to resolve the lawsuit filed over the suspension of his account following the January 6 Capitol riots, in response to a courtroom utility on Monday, September twenty ninth.

The deal marks YouTube’s final three main tech firms alongside Meta and X, settling a lawsuit filed by Trump, accusing them of illegally censoring them.

Trump and YouTube reconciliation
