Trump “word of thanks” for his second visit to the UK to the state

Must read

President Donald Trump concluded his historic second state visit to England on Thursday.

When asked about the lack of progress in brokering a deal to end Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin was “disappointing.”

Priorities discussed how he and Trump “definitively increase pressure on Putin” and said Trump “leaded the way here.”

Trump was also not good at the threat of imposing new sanctions on Russia and King Charles. In a speech at his state banquet Wednesday night, Trump offered a gentle nudge, saying, “As tyranny threatens Europe again, we and our allies are standing together to stop the attack and ensure peace.”

Though priorities have played a major role in Europe’s efforts to strengthen US support for Ukraine, Trump’s visit provided little progress.

The British government has also become increasingly critical of Israeli conduct in Gaza and the suffering of Palestinian civilians.

Priority said the situation was a “humanitarian catastrophe” as he recognized the gap with the president who recognized the Palestinian state.

Trump’s opinion on this issue is different from prioritized, but in signs of a fascinating appeal to the US president, the disagreement was arguably heartfelt.

“I have a disagreement with the Prime Minister on that score,” Trump said.

Priorities said in July that it plans to recognize the Palestinian state in September unless Israel agrees to a ceasefire in Gaza and take measures to ensure long-term peace.

There was also disagreement regarding immigration policy.

Trump urged Britain to hold more difficult boundaries, claiming that he made it clear that those who came and entered illegally have made it wise to “destroy the country from within.”

“You have someone coming in and I told the Prime Minister I’d stop it. It doesn’t matter if you call the troops or not. It doesn’t matter what you use,” Trump said.

Over 30,000 people have reached intersections so far this year, down from the 37,000 people arriving last year.

Technical Contract

Trump and Priorities signed what was welcomed as a historic agreement on science and technology, and they held a roundtable with global business leaders who suggested that the deal could mean a significant improvement in work.

The U.S. company said it has pledged £150 billion (EUR 172 billion) to the UK over the next decade, including £90 billion (EUR 103 billion) from investment company Blackstone.

The investments are also reversed, including nearly £40 billion (€45 billion) from US pharmaceutical company GSK.

UK officials say the deal will bring thousands of jobs and billions of investments in artificial intelligence, quantum computing and nuclear energy.

This includes the UK division of Stargate, a Trump-backed AI infrastructure project led by Openai, and many AI data centers across the UK.

British officials have said they have not agreed to abolish digital services tax and internet regulations to get the transaction, but details have not been released yet.

“Our national ties are unmatched anywhere in the world,” Trump said in Checker, the prime minister’s official country residence.

“Once again, they are British and American men and women, side by side, changing the path of history, turning it towards our values, freedom, democracy, the rule of law.”

At the signing ceremony of the contract intended to promote technology investment, Priorities called the Republican president “my friends, our friends” and spoke about “leaders who respect each other and who really like each other.”

Mutual admiration followed King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Trump feting and first lady Melania Trump at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.

Trump called the King and Queen “two fantasy people,” and he said he “exceeds beyond words” for hospitality.
