The cutest town in the Czech Republic | Why not miss Cesky Krumlov

Must read

Favorite fairy tale: Cesky Krumlov

Departing properly in South Bohemia, a visit to Sesky Krumlov makes you feel as if you had walked in previous periods. It features bohemian architecture, food and a remarkably relaxed lifestyle. The entire town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and international food chains are prohibited from opening to towns that appear to be determined to remain faithful to their roots (make this town even more adorable!)

This small town has around 2 million visitors a year Czech Republic It’s certainly not a secret, and it’s no surprise that locals are overwhelmed by their romantic relationships throughout the summer months when most visitors arrive in town. For this reason, we recommend a shoulder season visit if possible. Visit during the winter and enjoy the town almost completely. It’s an even better way for most visitors to make the most of their visits to see the town at their best, heading through the day, north or south to Prague, and towards Salzburg, Vienna and other destinations in Austria.

Things to see and do in Cesky Krumlov

Cesky Krumlov Castle – Castles and Europe go hand in hand, so it’s no surprise to any of us that even a small town like Cesky Krumlov has an oversized castle to explore. During the warmer months, there are even resident bears outside the castle.

Castle Tower – After visiting the resident bear, we head to the top of the tower for the best views of the city.

Castle Theater – I’ve never seen a theatre like this. In traditional Baroque style, this is considered one of the most beautiful things in the world. The theatres only open for private tours to save, so make sure you book in advance or make the first call to do so when you arrive in town.

Castle Garden – If you’re a green thumb like me, don’t miss out on the summer castle garden.

The Cathedral of St. Vitus – Pay spiritual attention to St. Vitus Cathedral, as it takes an iconic place on the skyline, even if you are just celebrating it from afar.

Vltava River – Another popular thing in the warmer month is to float down the Vltava River to float a raft, float or downstream body!

Eats: Vegan & Vegetarian

Raibon – Krumlov’s original vegan eatery, Raibon, is present as long as I can remember, and I will not travel to Krumlov without stopping by. The soup is a lifesaver in winter, and the river environment is too good!

Nirvana – Another winter favorite is warming up with healthy but hearty Indian curry in Nirvana. They have plenty of vegetable options and are also vegan-friendly.

Good Kahobuna – Another vegan favorite with a very rustic feel.

Eats: Sweets and snacks

Cafe Strudel – A town’s reliable dessert shop.

MLS Crepery – As the name suggests, a crepe and pancake shop.

candy – Chocolate shop.
