If you’re looking for the best cafes in Brno, look no further Skøg. Interior designer dreams, Scog’s open plan with charming creaking floorboards is Brno’s trendy shelter. Friendly staff, plenty of seats, great coffee, delicious food (think pancakes, burgers, salads, soups, homemade bread). If you’re not careful, you’ll spend hours of your life and perhaps all your money in this place. Try one of your homemade lemonade and vegan cakes. You won’t be disappointed. As if this place wasn’t even perfect, we also have cocktails in the evening.

The cozy table built into the front window makes it a great place to spend your time studying, working, or simply watching. The eclectic interior is filled with cozy pillows, artwork and books, which pair with delicious sandwiches and smoothies, and perhaps a cheeky wine, set for a great afternoon.

Punk has a bit of a darker and more frightening vibe than the others. This is a little far from the city, but makes it a great place to stop near Lejnkie Park. They also have a garden in front and if it’s a good day it’s a nice place to sit. Sometimes they also have flea markets and other events there.

Located on the corner of Zelny TRH, just next to the local vegetable market, this busy little square is the perfect backdrop for delicious scrambled eggs. When the sun comes out, outdoor seating is the perfect spot for revealing under the sun, and the square is filled with even the slightest signs of vitamin D.

Café Podnebi has perhaps the nicest courtyard in Brno, often hosting concerts and other events. Plus, they have their delicious breakfasts, salads and flaps, and you’ll have a great afternoon before you. It’s also very close to university faculties, making it the perfect break if you’re studying.

A small boutique coffee bar, a great place to read and read with coffee. Very little food (mainly just snacks), perfect for a quick coffee break. Conveniently located in the city centre and near the train station, it is perfect for refueling while exploring Brno.
