As far as I can remember, I have been lustful after staying at Halcyon’s house. As one of the most famous hotels in northern New South Wales, Halcyon House is attracting my attention as I live a little distance away by car in Brisbane, the new city I call home. So, should I visit? ? I have traveled a lot in our lives and have really come back, so I recently went to Halcyon’s house and worked harder to explore adventures near and far home. Check in to Halcyon House
Still for the customers, Halcyon House Located on Australia’s east coast, it is located on one of the most stunning beaches in the country. To be fair, Australia is full of beautiful beaches. However, Cabarita Beach is the biggest choice for locals and travelers, thanks to its impressive surf breaks and laidback coastal attitude.
Cabarita Beach is just a 30-minute drive north of its more famous neighbor Byron Bay, so the view is very similar. However, once Byron Bay quickly gains fame, you can find it in Cabarita Beach.
Inside the room at Halcyon House
The rooms at Halcyon House are elegantly decorated, with lots of pops of colours, brass fixtures and books on gorgeous travel coffee tables. Also the main draw card to stay here is the beachfront location with a sparkling pool on the beach, but the room was also a highlight from my stay. Each room offers ocean views, accessible just a few steps from Halcyon House. So, while you may have every intention of keeping the poolside during your stay, I promise that the rooms are just as highlights (the sunrise is the best for enjoying the full sun on the balcony).
Breakfast at Halcyon House
Our room rate included dinner and breakfast, giving us a great opportunity to sample everything the hotel has to offer. Breakfast was another highlight of my stay and I chose the signature aussie breakfast staple: toasted avocado. But the gorgeous addition of goat cheese and dukka made all the difference, and even a freshly squeezed lemon side sealed the deal. Fresh juice and coffee were also available. This is best enjoyed in the morning sun before heading to the beach to check out the surf.
Dinner at Paper Daisy
Dinner was included in the stay so I made sure to sample everything a bit on the 5 course tasting menu. Paper Daisy is an in-house restaurant that you must visit during your stay. It focuses on local cuisine, organic produce and contemporary Australian cuisine. The hotel location is very close to the beach so you can expect fresh seafood to appear on the menu, but there are also plenty of options for vegetarians and other dietary requirements. This was the perfect way to complete your stay in Cabarita Beach before returning to city life.
