Ljubljana has some great coffee shops. It was a pleasant surprise to me that some of Ljubljana’s best coffee shops were reminiscent of those I found back home in Australia. Here is a list of tried-and-true coffee shops to enjoy coffee in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
stow coffee roasters
If you’re looking for a coffee shop in Ljubljana that doesn’t care about anything but good coffee, look no further than Stow. The interior is casual, and Stow isn’t trying to follow other cafes. become something else. If you’re looking for a casual vibe and a break from Instagram-friendly jaunts, this is the one for you. The team are really passionate about great coffee, so it’s a bit more of an experience and coffee education than just a cafe.

Tozdo
This is one of the most popular spots among locals, so it’s a great place to mingle. The coffee served is fair trade and there is a strong sense of community here at Tozd. This is the kind of joint that will quickly become your local.

modern
Moderna is leading something of a double life. Located inside the Museum of Modern Art, Moderna is a cafe with a relaxed atmosphere during the day, but at night it often switches into party mode for exhibition parties. The coffee is probably the best in the city (my almond milk iced latte reminded me of my days in Los Angeles). The service is really friendly and the atmosphere is unpretentious. oh! You can also flip through magazines and books with a wide range of designs.

cafe canyon
Kavarna Sotesca, named after the street, is a beautiful combination of different chairs located inside the Art Hotel. They make great coffee and are very friendly!

Cafe Chokuru
This list is Cafe Chokurua small, unassuming little place with some of the best coffee in town. With a focus on fair trade imports, this cafe will definitely make you pick up where your coffee comes from. They also make their own organic beer!
