At least two students were killed and 17 injured after a shooting Wednesday morning at Minneapolis Announcement Catholic School.

At a press conference, Minneapolis Police Commissioner Brian O’Hara condemned the “pure cruelty and coronavirus” of the shootings that took place at a school church during the morning mass.

O’Hara said the unnamed shooter “started firing rifles through the church windows” and “armed with rifles, shotguns and pistols.”

The police chief said the two students killed were 8 and 10 years old.

The archer then shot himself to death. The motive for the shooting is unknown.

State governor Tim Waltz called the attack “terrifying.”

“I pray for the children and teachers whose first week of school has been damaged by this horrific act of violence,” he wrote in X’s post.

Minnesota, a pediatric trauma hospital, said in a statement that five children were recognized for care. Henepin Healthcare, Minnesota’s largest emergency department, said it also cared for shooting patients.

President Donald Trump said that “tragic shooting” was described in the true social post as police, FBI and other federal agents and ambulances have converged to schools, and that the White House will continue to monitor it.

The school was evacuated and the students’ families were later directed towards the school’s “unified zone.”

Until 1923, pre-kindergarten schools in 13-14 held morning masses on the first day of the semester, according to their website.

Recent social media posts from the school show kids smiling at the event back to school, raising summer art projects, playing together and enjoying ice pop.

The shooting was the latest in a string of deadly shootings in the city within 24 hours.

The school shootings on Wednesday followed DeMacall’s spats on shootings on at least 12 US college campuses.

Fake warnings, which can also be found in the background of gunshots, have urged colleges to “run, hide, fight” texts as the school begins, “run, hide, fight” texts, urging students across the country to scare students around the country.
