After living in Africa for almost a year, I have a significant percentage of safari lodges and experience. But considering that safari is such a magical experience, I will continue to come back more as much as I can. Over the years I have stayed in too many beautiful lodges, but just like anything I do, I have my favourite! So these are the best safari lodges in Africa and you really tried and tested them.

1. Sun Camp, Botswana
I’ll start with my favourite camps all over Africa – Sun Camp In Botswana. It’s far from your regular safari camp, but I personally think it makes it very special. Although no Big Fives are found here in the Kalahari Desert, this camp shines on small creatures found in the desert. But more than that, it’s really cutting off from your normal life and tune into your present. Although the tent does not have wifi or electricity, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with nature.
2. Botswana, I’m not
My second favorite lodge in Botswana goes by that name Tabebe. This is a great gem of Andbeyond’s Botswana portfolio, with many camps in the Okavango Delta and beyond. Sandib is the most expensive camp from Andbeyond’s portfolio in Botswana, but it is also the most magical one. If you’re looking for a unique honeymoon location, this is your best bet.
3. Sossusvlei Lodge, Namibia
Last year I finally had the opportunity to visit Namibia. Based in neighboring South Africa, it gave me more excuses to get out there and experience Africa more. When we ventured north into Namibia, we checked in Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. The lodge has recently been renovated from top to bottom, and the results are simply breathtaking. Wake up in the desert is a luxury. I will never forget this lifetime.

4. Boulders Lodge, South Africa
Boulders Lodge In South Africa, it wasn’t my first lodge experience in this country, but it was certainly my favorite! I will never forget to sit on my deck as I noticed a young elephant drinking from my pool and popping out to say hello! Since then, we’ve learned that this is a regular event at the lodge, so if you’re looking for close animal encounters, this is the perfect lodge to stay for your safari.
5. Cotter Safari Camp in Kenya
When I checked in Cotter Safari Camp In Kenya, it felt like I had traveled back in time. The 1920s safari camp is one of the oldest and is idyllically located on the fringe of Masai Mara. The park itself is flooded with safari participants, which is a great alternative to experience more serenity, but it is still close to the park.
6. Zanzibar, Munenba Island
Well, I’m saying that: Mnemba Island It’s my favorite lodge in everything in Africa. It’s not a traditional safari lodge, but it still deserves the place on this list. Located on a private island off Zanzibar on Mnemba Island, the ultimate in barefoot luxury.
7. Agamamara in Kenya, Kenya
Automa Field It is generally considered to be the best safari lodge in Masai Mara, Kenya. This newly opened lodge came to the Safari scene with many praise, especially to celebrate the unique place this lodge overlooks Mara. If you’re looking for a honeymoon location with views for a few days, this is your best bet in East Africa.
8. Bush Villa, Kenya
The Bush Villa is under the umbrella of Coater’s safari camp, but I think it deserves a mention of its own. This stunningly oversized villa is the perfect choice for large families and large groups to enjoy their own private oasis. The villa spreads over Coater’s safari camp, overlooking the Masai Mara below. Even Angelina Jolie is a guest at Bush Villa!
9. Serengeti House in Tanzania
The Serengeti House in Tanzania is the top property in Singita’s Safari portfolio. This private villa features four bedrooms, an infinity swimming pool and a private gym. The villa also comes with a private chef so you can really kick back and enjoy your time alone in a group.
10. Royal Malewane, South Africa
When I checked in ade A few years ago, I had already visited a handful of nearby camps. However, Royal Malewan has its own unique charm, with unique interior design that makes it feel like you’re going back in time. Visit Deipa where you can find this beautiful lap pool reminiscent of the Moroccan riad.
11. And beyond Bateleur Camp
During my time in East Africa, I think it’s safe to say BATELEUR CAMP It was my favorite safari lodge. This newly renovated lodge is the perfect mix of old meats, with all the classic touches, but every mod will fit it. The service here was unparalleled with other camps I stayed in Kenya.
12. Sky beds in Botswana
Check yourself out for an unforgettable night of bushes Botswana Sky Bed. The Skybed is just a short drive from the nearby Sable Array, making it a great addition to really soaking up in the bushes. The Skybed is located in a three-storey wooden house. In other words, you’ll be as close as possible to animal activities all night! This is not only one of the best safari lodges in Africa, but it is also one of the most adventurous.
13. South Africa’s sweet
Singita Sweni was one of the first Safari lodges I’ve ever stayed in, but that doesn’t mean I forgot about it! My experience at this lodge was very memorable. It is engraved in my heart forever. Singita really goes up for guests and offers gastronomy and unbeatable service. They have several lodges in the area, but Singita Sweni is my personal favorite.
14. Botswana, Sable Alley
Sable Array It is one of the most common options for safari camps in Botswana. Botswana is one of the most expensive countries to visit for safari adventures, but this camp is on the affordable edge of its size. If you’re looking for a special escape with no large price tags, this camp is reasonably priced.

15. Bisate Lodge by Rwanda
Rwanda has become the most popular country to visit in Africa. In recent years it has become popular. It is largely thanks to the population of mountain gorillas that attracted thousands of tourists to the inland country. Bisate Lodge is one of the most iconic lodges in the country, with a creative beehive-like design.
16. Thorntree River Lodge, Zambia
Zambia and Zimbabwe are both considered gateways to Victoria Falls, but if you’re looking for something special, check out Thorntree River Lodge. This peaceful and calm lodge is the epitome of romance set on the calm banks of the Zambezi River. There is no denying that this is one of the best safari lodges in Africa. Because this is our biggest choice for the most romantic ones.
17. Ngorongoro Lodge in Tanzania
East Africa is a place to visit if you’re looking for an iconic “from Africa” experience. Ngorongoro should be one of the most picturesque lodges to set up overlooking the crater itself.
18. Jao Camp, Botswana
I know, another Botswana recommendation! ? If you say that safaris are not as magical as what happens in the Okavango Delta, trust me. Jao Camp is another great option for honeymoon couples looking for something special. Carefully curated design makes it one of the most outstanding camps.
19. Singa disables Rwanda
Rwanda also has two Singata properties to choose from when searching for the best safari lodges in Africa. Kataza singita is a special lodge set in the mystical mountains of Rwanda, and is a short trip from the famous mountain gorillas.
20. Charm, Zambia
Lastly, Zambia’s Chinzonbo camp is idyllically located on the banks of the Zambezi River. This camp is a popular choice for honeymoon couples looking for a peaceful place by the water. However, if you’ve acquired some activities, you can also choose to have a canoe on the Zambezi River or take part in a microflight in Victoria Falls. When I say it’s not for the faint of heart, trust me!
