Copenhagen Bucket List – World of Wonderlast

Must read

A visit to the Danish capital is one of two things. A short stay to see what all the fuss is, or a short (informed) stay, do as much as possible in Copenhagen, escape the high prices in the sky and return to the inland of Europe. If you don’t have a budget, you couldn’t spend much time in this charming city, but if you only have a few days, it’s all you need to see and do at the time!

Copenhagen

1. Naihab

You know those colorful homes along the waterfront that (probably) convinced you that you simply have to visit Copenhagen! ? It’s nyhavn. We come together that day to see it in a calm environment, but return in the late afternoon to watch the sunset, and in the evening see what’s cozy with blankets and hot cocoa.

2. Eat (many) Danish pastries

This really doesn’t require any explanation.

3. Make friends with Dane

One of the things that really made my trip to Copenhagen special was making friends with Dane who showed me for a few days. This made my visit more enjoyable, authentic and memorable!

4. Visit Freetown Christiania

If you’re looking for something a little different, you will certainly find more in Freetown Christiania than that. The Danes can sometimes look a little nervous and strict, but in Christiania, which has governed here, we see the other side of the spectrum.

5. Tivoli Garden

This amusement park is different from others – oh, it’s in the heart of town! The gardens are gorgeous and the rides are worth it for a while. Look anywhere else for a day of fun.

Copenhagen

6. Rosenberg Castle Gardens

Photo above, the Gardens of Rosenberg Castle offer a different experience throughout the season. It is located very centrally and is full of small pockets to fill yourself in the book.

7. Visit Torvehallerne Market

If you’re looking for something a little more localized, head to this market for gourmet delicacies and casual dining.

8. Line up boats at Fredericksburg Gardens

What looks more appealing than rowing a boat into a gorgeous lake with a gorgeous enclosure is because it is located in a gorgeous lake! ?

9. Eat cheesecake at Beltel’s Salon Company

Definitely the best cheesecake and coffee combo in town.

10. Ride a bike around town

So they say – when you’re in Rome! When you’re in Copenhagen, make sure the Danes do and ride your bike around town for the day. This is not only the best way to avoid it, but it is also the most economical method!

Copenhagen

11. Christiansborg Palace

If you are interested in Danish royalty or just visit to praise the proportions of the palace, Christiansborg is centrally located and deserves a visit.

12. NEWCARLSBERG GLYPTOTEK

There are many museums in Copenhagen, but this has particularly caught our attention and will certainly be your bundle of choice. The collection is impressive, but the interior is reason enough to visit itself.

13. Eat snegul

The name itself resembles a snail in shape, taking the form of a puff pastry and is gene-stained and covered in cinnamon and sugar, making it a “sneggle” worth trying. Yes, really.

14. Visit our Savior’s Church

If you’re interested in churches (you can do quite overdo it all over the whole large European itinerary), it’s our Savior Church, a 17th century structure in the Baroque with delicate and intricate interiors that keep you out of your way.

15. Try cream bread

Three words: Just do that. I’ll do it multiple times too. Please do three times or more. The rough translation of English is “cream ball”, but that’s not really just. Classics come in a variety of flavors and spins, so be sure to give it a try.

Copenhagen

16. Eat the street

As everyone knows, Copenhagen is extremely expensive, especially compared to other European capitals. The best way to skip a huge price is to eat the streets (there are plenty in the street food stalls) – start with these delicious churros on the main shopping street!

17. Amalienborg

This impressive palace is a winter home of the Danish royal family and is certainly worth a visit while in the city. Take a photo with (very) serious security guards!

18. Splattering at night at geranium

It is one of the city’s most expensive restaurants, but evenings at the geranium should remember your life. Gastronomy is a major part of modern culture in Scandinavian countries, and Copenhagen is no exception. Book in advance and put aside a lot of cash to make an invoice.

19. Frederick Church

It is also known as the marble church. This is the perfect site to stop by if you check all of the above from the list.

20. Climb to the top of rundetårn

This 17th century tower (known as the round tower) offers spectacular views of the city at 25DDK.
