
1. Find the best views of Eiffel Tower
Paris’s iconic skyline is no definitive without the views of the Eiffel Tower, and one of my favorite activities when visiting the city is to continue my never-ending quest for the best views. Many will say the best views you can get from Montparnasse (somewhat true), but if you ask me you can beat the views of the secret streets from Avenue de Camoens.

2. Visit the Louvre Museum
You’ve probably heard of the world’s most famous museums and the most famous work, the Mona Lisa. But did you know that the Louvre has over 35,000 works and 380,000 objects? Needless to say, the complex interior of the building is a work of art in itself. Louvre tickets can be purchased in line to save on waiting.

3. Walking the Alexandre III Bridge
With its gold trimming and gorgeous details, the Pont Alexandre III is one of Paris’s most romantic places, a place where you can watch and rise the sunset on the Seine. As the sun set and the blue time settled, warm light transformed into something that could pass through the bridge as a film set, in fact, many film locations set in the city.

4. Walking through Ire de Ness
As the heart of Paris, Yle de Quote still feels like a heartbeat in the city. The island has an oversupply of ice cream and quaint cafes, making it a great area to explore on a hot summer day as you make the most of the shelter provided by the shadowy buildings and the narrow streets they live in.

5. Watch the sunrise on the Seine
Separating the right bank from the left bank, the Seine River is one of the most beautiful places to watch the sun rise forever in Paris. Many visitors to Paris head to the Seine for a Paris picnic at sunset, but can enjoy much of the Seine yourself in the early hours before the city wakes up.

6. Shop at MerciConceptStore
The concept store reached Prime in the early 2000s and many have since closed the doors, but Merci is one of the few that has been able to continue the distance. The shop is packed with work from French designers and artisans, offering everything from home items to clothing and everything in between.
7. Give me time to hand you outside a cafe in Paris
The Parisian art form is a Parisian art form, and is less idyllic than the typical Parisian cafe front. The names of famous households such as Cafe de Flore and Les Deux Magots are filled with people out of well-dressed towns, but you can find the most unique and authentic experiences in the corner of the neighbourhood, away from the Marais, San Canal Martin and the city’s monuments and museums.

8. Buy macarons from Ladury
Certainly, you’ve heard a discussion before about owning the best macarons in Paris and likely had a variety of answers (let’s chase it; Pierre Herme can’t beat because of his technique and intense taste). However, Radorey, the original macaron merchant, is itself a Paris facility and must visit at least once on a Parisian adventure (skip the location of champion Elysie).

9. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral
As the most iconic church in all of Paris, Notre Dame is a must-see both inside and outside. If you are healthy and capable, the best view of the Cathedral is looking at Paris from the same view as the gargoyles, who sit eeriely above the tower overlooking the city, by climbing the stairs of the tower.

10. Shakespeare & Co. Buy the book from.
This English bookstore has become one of the most popular pit stops for travelers to Paris. Partly thanks to its famous inhabitants (like Hemingway and Fitzgerald visit regularly during their years in Paris).

11. Walk the street from arrondisment to arrondismentement
There are many ways to travel around Paris. It is most popular on bikes, subways and on foot. Walking through the city streets is one of the best ways to see the city. Traveling between destinations is often more valuable than the destination itself! Best areas for wandering include the canal mines Martin (not calm), Lemale (busting Sundays) and Montmartre (artists quarter).

12. Visit as many French patisseries as you can
Pants buttons! Paris is a mecca for pastry enthusiasts, and in fact, most people consider the beating heart of French pastry culture. While you’re in town, be sure to follow our guide to the best pastry shops in Paris. Here you can find the best macarons, eclairs, croissants, tarts and more.

13. Join a pastry class in the basement of Ritz
For several years in a row, I have been obligated to participate in a new pastry class in Paris. This year it was a cake cherry. I learned to make chocolate gateau cakes in the basement of Ritz in Paris. These classes are much more expensive and difficult than the other classes in Paris (I learned to make macarons and breakfast pastries), but the skills I learned in the four-hour class were invaluable. Most classes are offered in French, but don’t scare it. We have an English Translator Assistant Chef at hand to help you through the class.

14. Enjoy a picnic at Eiffel Tower
If you are planning to visit Paris in a warm month, you should never miss the opportunity to park in a patch of grass at Eiffel Tower. Every spring I visit, I do exactly that. We roam the city collecting local wine, cheese, chocolate and of course macarons!

15. Walk through Tuileries Gardens
Located between the Louvre and the location of the Dela Concorde, some of Paris’s most modest gardens, but perhaps one of the most beautiful. Many visitors to Paris walk the gardens on the popular route between the Louvre, the Dela Concorde and, ultimately, the Eiffel Tower, but many don’t make time to stop and spend time in the garden. In spring and summer, ice cream stalls, small pole pastry stands and artists portray exciting environments.

16. Discover the secret passages of Paris
Check out some of Paris’ hidden corridors if you’re looking for tourist monuments and attractions or simply a little off the beaten path. It has a gorgeous exterior in the history of the city. Our favorite pick is Galerie Vivienne.

17. Walking through the canal of St. Martin
There is a very calm neighborhood where you can feel the feeling of “old Paris.” The area is full of great boolean lies and small cafes, and you can mostly avoid international chains. Stop by Du Pain Et Idees (Bread and Ideas) for perhaps the best pastries in Paris.

18. Visit a cute cafe in Paris
Paris is a cute cafe mecca. It’s Mecca, especially if you’re exploring hidden alleys across the main street. The photo shows Au Vieux Paris decorated with Wisteria, which is growing in the warm moon.

19. See the classic Moulin Rouge
Whether or not you go? Moulin Rouge, Paris’s most iconic cabaret show, has been operating since 1889 and to this day, it attracts packed homes with multiple shows every day. The show is a classic look inside a French cabaret show, and is a classic show to watch if you can set up a solidly packed audience space. Alternatives include Champion Elysie’s Crazy Horse Paris and Lido.

20. Bartylon ice cream
If you find yourself in Paris in the spring/summer, you can’t miss a visit to Berthillon, home to Paris’s best ice cream and sorbet. This gorgeous glacier has built its own name, where many places offer Bertyrons throughout Paris. For the best choice, head to the flagship location of the 29-31 RUE SAINT-LOUIS EN L’HYLE.

21. Join a macaron making class
Sweet almond cookies known as macarons have been storming the world over the past decade, but have been popular in France since the 19th century. If you don’t want to spend up to $4 per little cookie, you’ll learn to create macarons and create classes and make these popular pastries at home. La Cuisine offers excellent referral courses and Macaron Masterclass. Here you will learn both French and Italian ways to make macarons with a French pastry chef.

twenty two. Visit Avenue de Camoenz
Paris has many places to enjoy views of the Eiffel Tower, but the best secret location is at the end of Avenue Deca Moen’s. This is a beautiful part of town and is also a great opportunity to explore your neighborhood as it has some of Paris’ most expensive properties.

twenty three. Climbing the stairs at the top of Ark de Trifhunf
Another great view of the Eiffel Tower is that it is above Ark Detriompf. I hope you can survive 284 steps to the top!

24. Find the most recognisable art nouveau façade in Paris
The influence of Art Nouveau architecture, popular from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, has a small but fun presence in Paris, with the most beautiful façades hidden throughout the city.

twenty five. Check out the Medici Fountain in Luxembourg Gardens
This monumental fountain in Luxembourg Gardens is one of the city’s most beautiful places, especially during spring and summer. It is on the east side of Luxembourg Palace, in a shady area lined with trees in the park.

26. Ride a bike around town
Cycling around the city after walking is another great way to look at the city for a very long time and have a velib system that is all over the city. It is not only efficient, but also an affordable way to see city views.

27. Access two trays
Located in the courtyard of the Palais Royal, Les Deux Plateaux is an art installation known as a row of black and white stripes. The courtyard itself is a beautiful sight to see, but the contemporary art installation makes it special and worth a visit.

28. Try Angelina’s Hot Chocolate
Angelina Paris’ Hot Chocolate (Chocolat Cho) is a rich, rich and delicious luxury. That in itself is an experience. Served with a silver jug that allows you to pour calories in front of you, the rich chocolate is perfect for accompanied by a small amount of cream to make it sweet to your liking.

29. Take a day trip to Versailles
Just a 30-minute train ride from the heart of Paris, you can reach the Palace of Versailles, the official royal residence until the 1789 French Revolution. Book your Versailles tickets in advance to avoid unnecessary queues that can be particularly long during the summer season. A visit to Marie Antoinette’s gardens is a must-have for warmer months. We really look at the size of the palace and the size of its site.

30. I’ll pass the time I’m watching
Paris is an ideal city for people to sit and see, so pull up your chair outside one of the (never ends) cafes and pass the world. Saint-Germain des Press is a great place to get started, just like the boundaries of Le Marais’ Vosges on Sunday afternoons.

31. Montmartre at dusk
Magical Time, also known as Blue Hour, is the perfect setting to watch the artistic region of Montmartre come to life. Note that the Montmartre area can be quite rough for the night. That way, the magic time won’t last long!

32. Afternoon Tea at Plaza Athens
In the warm moon, when Parisian courtyards and gardens return from the cold winter, there is a certain sense of renewal throughout the city, and nothing more beautiful than the inside of the Plaza Athens courtyard. This luxurious hotel costs quite a penny to stay in the evening, but you can experience all the charms of the hotel by enjoying the luxurious afternoon tea setting in the courtyard.

33. Find the best views of the Eiffel Tower from the city of Paris
I often find myself wandering aimlessly on the streets of cities, mainly as a solo traveler (except for a few friends and family who sometimes take part), but in Paris there is always a purpose. Some of my favorite moments have been stumbling over a cafe that directly sees monuments and small streets to enjoy everything on their own. The list is endless! Hunting is half a fun, so I won’t list my favourite finds here!

34. Browse Seineside bookstores and art prints
These traditional outdoor Seine side bookstores and art print sellers have been the staples of the Paris landscape since the 16th century, when the Renaissance and these so-called “vagabonds” set up shops on the Seine River. To this day, it is one of Paris’ most popular spots and has won bargains in second hand books.

35. Discover the hidden back streets of Montmartre
One of my favourite Parisian books, the only street in Paris, not only did I understand my love for this neighborhood, but I also understood it. Montmartre, especially Martyrs rue Authentic Paris: A mixed pot of artisans, ethnicities, cultures and traditions. This side of Paris is still very alive today, but moves further outwardly beyond Montmartre to the outskirts of Paris.

36. Find a sinking house in Paris
You may have seen the photos, but the truth is that this optical fantasy is a home that has not submerged at all, but it is still a great photo opportunity. Located in Margaux rue, Sinking House is located on the right, just off the Sacré-Cœur (if you’re looking).

37. Enjoy the views from Montmartre
Make sure you get a path to famous people while you’re in the neighborhood sacred–Cathedral Heart You can then go around the top of the hill overlooking the city and enjoy a wide view of the city.

38. Visit Paris Opera
Whether you’re going to take a ballet, opera or simply a tour of the perfect interior, you should absolutely take the Parisian House at some point during your visit to Paris.

39. At your Café de Flore
As one of Paris’s most famous cafes (along with his neighbor Les Dew Margot), Cafe des Floor is an experience of its own and a Mecca where people are worth waiting for the table!

40. Eat around Latin Street
If you’re on your budget in Paris, check out the Latin Quarter. From crepes to kebabs and everything in between, all endless food options are offered for bargain prices of a few euros.

41. Vintage shopping in Saint-Germain
Looking for vintage 1950s Chanel blazer or clip-on earrings? Where will Saint-Germain go? This neighborhood is full of boutiques selling all kinds of vintage merchandise, especially if you’re looking for labels.

42. DesVosges Picnic
One of my favorite places to stop myself on weekends (especially when the sun is out) is the place in Desveauges, the cleanest public square in all of Paris. Grab a baked goods (my favorite is the culetto) from one of the patisseries surrounding the square and pass the time as you soak in the gorgeous surroundings.
43. Marvel at the architecture of Sacraé-Coeur Basilica
You may have seen it, plan to visit it, but did you know that you can also go inside? This cathedral is one of Paris’s most visited monuments, but visitors stay outside, get caught up in the cityscape and forget to enter!

44. Get some pastries from Angelina
If you’re like me, then go to Angelina and stock up on some merchandise, as the only diet you’re in Paris isn’t food at all.

45. Discover the gorgeous stairs of Paris
One of my favorite and often underrated features of Paris is its attention to detail, photographed on the steps of beautiful apartment blocks and the most luxurious hotels in Paris. The stairs in the photo above are located inside Plaza Athens, one of the city’s most iconic hotels.

46. Stop by Asoin, a French publisher
If you are looking for a gift for that difficult person, or if you are looking for the perfect coffee table book, look no further than the ass of St. German des Press.

47. Visit Sainte-Chapelle
Built in the early 13th century, Sainte-Chapelle Chapel features one of the most luxurious displays of stained glass that can be found all over the world.

48. Explore the Artist District of Montmartre
Especially on weekends, Montmartre’s neighbours come to life, and aren’t as true as the artist’s district. This neighborhood, of course, is itself an artist’s district, and for a long time it has been a bohemian home in the city of Paris. These days, you can wander around leisure by photographing the sights and sounds of one of Paris’s most authentic old food stall neighborhoods.

49. Visit Paris in spring for the cherry blossom season
It only lasts a few weeks each year in April, but there is no better way to see Paris than a pink cherry blossom blanket being blown away by the light breeze of spring.

50. Calette
As my favorite cafe in Paris (if you’ve heard of it elsewhere in World of Wanderlust), I can’t finish this article without recommending Carret. There are two locations in the city (one in the Trocadero and one in Lemare), and my favorite is the latter.
