Bali is known worldwide for its iconic rice padis, meditation retreats and fantastic organic dishes. So, if you come to Bali to immerse yourself in local culture, including yoga, great organic cafes, unique boutiques, scenic temples, and more, we’d like to know about these 20 favorite places in Bali!
20. Batubaron Beach
This beach and surrounding area (Canggu) offers the best surfing in Bali. The best way to enjoy a stay in Bali is to book a villa in the area and explore more overseas for activities by booking a scooter or a private driver for around $50 a day.
19. White water rafting
This is probably one of the most enjoyable activities to enjoy in Bali. If you are in the rainy season, you mean rainy day and night, but you’re happy to know that it means more water for a rapid! There are a variety of companies offering day trips to the mountains, allowing you to enjoy a few hours of running along the river.
18. Mulianusadua
If you want to stay away from the insanity and be on this side of town, look no further than Mulia Resort in Nusa Dua. This hotel is huge but is perfect for staying for a few nights at the end of your stay and relaxing, relaxing and reorganizing before you get home.
17. FourSeasons Sayan – Ubud
If you want a luxury hotel that offers a real Balinese experience, you’ll find something more than that at Sayan in the Four Seasons. The resort is renowned for keeping the world apart from guests with its quiet green oasis with a vast supply of yoga and meditation classes.
16. Crate, Canggu
Another great cafe in Ahhhh, Canggu. Seriously, go here. This place offers a bowl of happiness, a plate of sunshine and health.

15. Mount Batour
So you’ve seen pictures of the iconic 6am horizon shot overlooking Bali, where are they taken from! ? If you want to experience a hiking in Bali, what is definitely on offer is Mount Batur at sunrise. You need to wake up early, but the view is certainly worth it (pictured above).
14. Spa Series and Servant Sweets
The spa at Alila Villas Soori is perhaps one of the most subtle and sensual spas I have experienced in the world. Spa design (and more generally hotels) is minimal and feels like a sanctuary away from Bali’s huffs. Alila Suli is a fairly unobtrusive drive in Tabanan, but the drive-out offers travelers an insight into the “old” Bali.
13. CanteenCafe, Canggu
If you’re chasing the great cafes in Canggu, you’ll be spoiled for your choice. Canteen Cafe is just one of many cafes in the area worth mentioning.
12. Ubud Monkey Forest
This place is so cute you can’t miss it. As the name suggests, the Ubud Monkey Forest is full of local monkeys waiting for travelers to pass through. When feeding bananas, they’re a lively bunch!

11. Rock Barbary
It’s in the name. Wonderful views, amazing sunsets.
10. Single fin
We love rock bars, but we looovvveee single fins. Amazing views in Uluwatu.

9. Yoga Art Village, Kangoo
If there is only one place to practice yoga in Bali, then Desaseni is. There are also accommodations and training to become an instructor.
8. Potato Head Beach Club
If you are in Bali for a “boys trip” or “girls trip”, then if you have a reason to celebrate, Potato Head Beach Club is the place to go. The location is busy every day, so if you want to get a good spot, make sure to arrive early.
7. Chillhouse Kang
If you have a budget but don’t want to sacrifice comfort, then Canggu’s Chillhouse is your best option. It also has a wonderful community atmosphere for solo travelers.
6. Ubu Dried Terrace
When you think about Bali, you think of the photo above. Rice Terraces are all over Bali, but nowhere is more abundant than Ubud. Hire a driver for a day ($50 per day) to take you to and around Ubud and wherever you want to go.
5. Gooseberry’s intimate flagship store
If there is one thing you can spend a lot of money without feeling guilty or feeling that lingerie! Gooseberry’s intimacy has a very beautiful and delicate piece that is very reminiscent of traditional French feminine lingerie. There is a flagship store on the main strip of Seminyak.
4. Uruwatu Temple
This UNESCO World Heritage Site temple is a very sacred place in Bali, offering spectacular views from the cliffs of Uluwatu. Most travelers choose to visit to film one of the iconic Uruwatu sunsets in the late afternoon, so if you are planning to visit, expect plenty of traffic on your return to popular tourist destinations such as Seminyak, Kuta, and nusa Dua.
3. land
Tana Lot is a small rock formation off the coast of Bali and is home to the famous Pra Tana Lot Temple. This temple is especially beautiful at sunset and sunrise, a must-see when you’re in Bali!
2. Alila Villas Uluwatu’s “Stoll” Restaurant
I love Alila Villa Uruwatu for a number of reasons. It has the cliffs of Uluwatu, the amazing sunsets, the amazing pool villa, but above all the best views of the food! So I had to include this hotel again in the “casual dining restaurant “Warun”. Try out a few things in traditional shared styles. The more adventurous it is, the better! You can’t pass the Tempe and Peanut Satay, but the free tasting plate you start with is just as good!!
1. Betelnut Cafe
I can’t believe myself that the cafe has created a way to rank it number one on the list of all things to see in Bali, but if you’ve been to Betelnut Cafe in Canggu, you know why. This cafe has some of the most amazing dishes at the best prices, but it also features the famous Nagabomb and Nagabowl which win this small cafe in top position. Stop by to see what all the fuss is. Located on the beach in Kang on Main Street (Jalang Pantai Batuboron, #60).
