Do you like photography or just an Instagram feed? Either way, I’ve got something good for you. It’s been eight years since I first traveled the world alone and started sharing photos of my adventures online. It led me to a career in the travel industry (yay!) and in about 80 countries around the world (double win!).
So, if you are like me and love to capture your travels in pictures, here are the 10 best photo locations in Dubai. I’ll tell you where to find it, when to visit, and even include secret tips for breaking into and breaking into luxury hotels (just kidding!).

burj al arab
I was standing a while ago Inside the world’s only 7-star hotel. As expected for a hotel with such a high reputation, it was surprising. But the good news is you don’t have to stay overnight to experience seven-star luxury. Burj Al Arab’s spa is perhaps the most impressive area of the hotel, and you can take advantage of its facilities by booking a treatment. Surprisingly, photography is also allowed, so be sure to bring your camera.

The Palace Downtown Dubai
Among my favorite hotels in Dubai that I have checked into over the years, The Palace in Downtown Dubai is in my top three favorites. This beautiful hotel has a wonderful backdrop in the center of town. You don’t have to stay here to visit. Alternatively, you can stop by during your visit to Dubai Mall.

Atlantis The Palm
Atlantis The Palm is one of the most famous hotels in the world. This impressive resort offers plenty of photo opportunities, but for the best views, head to the private beach. The beach is only open to hotel guests, but that doesn’t mean it will remain crowded. This is one of the busiest hotels in Dubai, so to get quiet photos without the crowds, you should visit at sunrise when the rest of the hotel is sleeping.

dubai desert
Just as you can’t visit Rome without visiting the Vatican, you can’t visit Dubai without visiting the Dubai Desert. These vast sand dunes have become everyone’s favorite photo location in Dubai. Spending an afternoon driving around the dunes is a great way to test out your 4WD. For the best photos, book a hot air balloon ride for sunrise and glide effortlessly over the landscape.

Four Seasons Financial District
It was on my third visit to Dubai that I discovered the Four Seasons Hotel in the financial district. Although it is a business hotel, the rooftop pool is one of the most photogenic pools in the world. The backdrop of Dubai Clock Tower is best seen at sunrise when the desert sun casts a soft glow.

jumeirah beach
One of the most popular places in Dubai is Jumeirah Beach. Here, many tourists and expats enjoy sipping cocktails at one of the many beach clubs. It’s one of the few places where you can drink in public, so it’s very lively on weekends. With Burj Al Arab in the background, you can’t go wrong.

Al Maha Desert Lodge
Checking in to Al Maha Desert Lodge I’m in a pinch, I must be in the moment of dreaming. This luxurious lodge feels like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Dubai. Each room has its own private pool, butler service, and comprehensive dune activities. All this makes you never want to leave!

Burj Khalifa
The view from the top of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is undoubtedly one of the best photo opportunities in Dubai. At 828 meters tall, this building is intimidating to say the least. If you’re not afraid of heights, take the elevator up to the 148th floor at a height of 555 meters. From here you can enjoy views of the city at sunset. Another best time to visit is at sunrise, before the sun sets. It feels like you’re floating on a cloud.

Arabian Tea House in Al Fahidi
Arabian Tea House in the Al Fahidi area is one of Dubai’s lesser-known photo locations, but one of my favorites. This beautiful tea house shows Dubai’s history and culture in contrast to the new city. Al Fahidi is the cultural part of the city, where you can walk through empty streets, visit museums, and buy a few things to take home.

In front of Burj Al Arab
The unique architecture of Burj Al Arab has always been one of the best photo locations in Dubai. This impressive structure is one of Dubai’s most famous, along with the impressive Burj Khalifa. To see it from the water, take a boat tour or head out to sea in your own rubber dinghy.
